Creednz Privacy Policy

Creednz Ltd. and Creednz Inc. (“Creednz” or “us”, “our”, “we”), located at Arye Shenkar St 1, Herzliya, 4672501, Israel respects your right to privacy. Your ability to make informed choices about the uses of your information is important to us. This privacy policy details how we collect, use and store information and data that we receive. Creednz provides a suite of services for business transaction fraud detection (the “Services”). As used in this privacy policy, “Personal Information” means information that can be directly associated with a specific person or entity such as a name, address, date of birth, or e-mail address.

 

Information We Collect

Creednz collects two general types of personal data: data from persons who visit the Site (“Site Data”) and data concerning individuals, including Customer’s personnel (including employees and service providers), collected when our Customers and/or their personnel use the Creednz Services (“Customer Data”).

 

The Site Data will include certain data which we will collect automatically, such as your IP address, mobile device or computer, operating system and browser, screen resolution, page views, clicks recorded sessions, and geo-location. The Site Data also includes the information that you leave for us to contact you.

The Customer Data includes data collected from publicly available databases or from third party data providers, data that is inputted by the Customer into the Service, data from the Customer’s ERP software, as well as certain data regarding Customer personnel (e.g., personnel’s registered addresses) and their use of the Creednz Service and including technical information about any device that Customer connects to the Creednz Services. Customer Data is likely to include contact data, KYC data, financial data (e.g., account numbers, means of payment, currency of payment, bank account validation information, etc.) data regarding transactions with various vendors and service providers, as well as identifying data regarding data regarding such vendors and service providers and including trends and patterns the data described hereunder.  

In addition, we collect any information you provide when you contact us for any reason.

You are not required by law to provide us with any of the information described herein, but by using the Creednz Site and/or Services you agree to provide us with such information.

 

How We Use Information

We will not share your Personal Information with third parties without your explicit permission, except when required by law, regulation, subpoena or court order or as otherwise expressly set forth herein. We may use Personal Information and other information internally – for example, to provide you with the Creednz Services, to help diagnose problems with our servers, and to make our products more useful for you and for our other customers. For this purpose, members of our engineering department may have access to the data, including personal data, as part of their role in our company. All data collected and used as described herein may be analyzed using artificial intelligence systems (machine learning algorithms), in order to more efficiently detect suspicious patterns which could indicate fraudulent activity.

 

We may use Personal Information to contact you. We may use Personal Information to provide you with the Creednz Services and/or Site. Customer Data may be shared with the applicable Customer and its personnel.

In addition, by analyzing all information we receive, we may compile statistical information across a variety of users (“Statistical Information”). We may do so by means of third-party tools or services, including Google Analytics. By analyzing the information we receive, we may compile statistical information across a variety of platforms and users. Statistical Information helps understand trends and customer needs so that new products and services can be considered, and so existing products and services can be tailored to customer desires. Statistical Information does not indicate individuals’ identities, and we will not link Statistical Information to any Personal Information. We may share Statistical Information with our partners, pursuant to commercial terms that we determine in our sole discretion. In addition, we may provide any information to third parties, so long as we have removed any information that identifies any particular individual or user, such as a name, address or contact information. How we Protect Information

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We will delete any information provided to us by a user upon the receipt of a written request by such user. We cannot restore information once it has been deleted.

 

Cookies

A cookie is a small piece of text that is sent to a visitor’s browser. The browser provides this piece of text to the device of the originating visitor when this visitor returns. A “persistent” cookie may be used to help save your settings and customizations across visits. We also use browser local cache. Most Web browsers are initially configured to accept cookies, but you can change this setting so your browser either refuses all cookies or informs you when a cookie is being sent. Also, you are free to delete any existing cookies at any time. Please note that some features of the Service and/or Site may not function properly when cookies are disabled or removed.

 

Third Party Sites and Services

Please note, when you pay us via a wire transfer, we will be able to view some of your basic banking information, including your account number and branch number.  Depending on your means of payment, we may use third party payment providers to provide payment services for the Creednz Services. We are not affiliated with, and do not have any responsibility for the privacy practices of such third party payment services. Please review independently the privacy policies of such third party payment providers.

 

In addition, the Service and/or Site may link to or using web sites or services belonging to third parties. We have no control over third-party sites or services, and all use of third-party sites or services is at your own risk. We cannot accept responsibility for the privacy policies of any such sites. We are not responsible for content available by means of such sites or services. We do not endorse any products or offered by third parties and we urge our users to exercise caution in using third-party sites or services.

 

Children

We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. In the event you become aware that an individual under the age of 13 has provided us their Personal Information using the Site or as part of the Creednz Services without parental permission, please advise us immediately.

 

Correcting or Updating your Information.

We will retain your information for as long as your Customer account is active or as needed to provide you the Creednz Services or Site. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, please contact us at the e-mail address listed above. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

 

Communications

We may send you email or other messages about us or our products and services as well as messages about products and services of selected third parties. By using the Creednz Services or Site, you affirmatively consent to receive such commercial messages.  As a registered member, you can remove your personal information from our mailing list and stop receiving future communication from us by following the unsubscribe link located at the bottom of each communication or by emailing us at Privacy@creednz.com You will also be given the opportunity to unsubscribe from commercial messages in any such email we send.  Please note that we reserve the right to send you service related communications, including service announcements and administrative messages, relating either to your account or to your transactions on the Services or Site or with respect to the Creednz Service, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them unless you cancel your account. 

 

Other Uses or Transfer of Your Information

We will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity or behavior of any user suspected to have engaged in illegal behavior.

We may share your information with our affiliates, which may be located outside your country of residence. We may use subcontractors that are located in countries other than your own, and send them information we receive. For example, we may send your information to any countries outside your jurisdiction and/or outside the United States. All our subcontractors will be subject to non-disclosure and non-use obligations. Nevertheless, some countries may have levels of protection of personal and other information which are not as high as in your country of residence or business.

We may transfer our databases containing your Personal Information if we sell our business or part of it, including in cases of liquidation, and the terms of this Privacy Policy will continue to apply to the databases. Information about our users, including Personal Information, may be disclosed as part of, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets or acquisition and shall continue being subject to the provisions of this Privacy Policy. By providing such information, you expressly consent to such transfer and use, including transfers outside of the country of your residence and subsequent transfers.
